Our custom made hard wood smokers were built by Gator Pits of Texas, LLC in Houston Texas by world renown pit builder and designer Ritchey Robin. Every part of the pits were designed to be both efficient and lasting.

Bertha (Our small pit)

Made from 1/2 inch thick steel, the fire box below the cook chamber is uniquely place to evenly distribute heat and smoke while greatly reducing wood use. With 1/4 inch thick heat defector plates running the length of the 54" X 24" cook chamber, even temperatures are maintained in every section of the pit.  Weighing in at over 1,300 pounds, this custom one of a kind pit was designed by professionals with a passion for making the best old school barbecue on the planet.
 
Big Boy (Our large pit)

This pit's main cook chamber measures in at 30' X 60' with another upright cooking chamber measuring 30" by 48".  The pit has tuning plates, an insulated firebox, gas assist features for getting the fire started, and a grill lid on the firebox.  This pit weighs in at well over 4,000 lbs!!!. This mobile trailer pit can handle any size catering job and can be brought on site to impress your guests.
